For over two decades IDE has been a world leader in environmental controls and material handling for semiconductor manufacturers, prestigious universities and government laboratories. IDE’s solutions include vibration isolation systems, EMI cancellation, acoustic countermeasures and high precision material handling robotics.
“Our reputation and worldwide business have grown tremendously over the past 20 years,” commented Thomas Breser, IDE Global Managing Director, ”and now it is time for our physical plant to reflect our expansion. In addition to a greener working environment for all our employees, it will provide greater convenience and service to our customers.”
Architects for the new IDE project are Dierks Blume & Nasedy in Darmstadt, Germany. The white and glass complex covering several acres is sited in a quiet, attractive section of Raunheim, directly on a major suburban rail line nearby. This will give IDE employees and visitors convenient 20-minute access to and from the Frankfurt Airport with easy connections around the world.
Commenting further, CEO Breser said, “IDE started in Germany in 1990 with a handful of dedicated people in a very small suburban space. And look at IDE now. Global, energized and building for the future.”
The IDE Group, incorporating IDE GmbH in Germany; IDE Inc. in the United States; IDE Ltd. Japan; IDE Israel, and IDE China is a major unit of Aalberts Industries founded in 1975 and based in Langbroek, The Netherlands.
